Sports club safeguarding
At Giffnock Tennis Squash & Hockey Club we apply safeguarding standards beyond the minimum requirements of our three governing bodies. We recognise the importance of providing all members with a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment in which to play, train and socialise. Members can find all our policies and associated guidance as well as sources of support and information here.
Any member, employee or volunteer with a safeguarding concern is encouraged to speak to our Child Wellbeing & Protection Convenor (CWPO):Daljeet Dagon

All safeguarding reports are treated in the strictest confidence and in accordance with relevant club policies.Members should also know that all club coaches, bar staff and committee members are all trained in identifying safeguarding issues and will know what to do if approached by a member with a concern. The more trained eyes and ears we have at the club, the safer the environment we create for everyone. All safeguarding reports are treated in the strictest confidence and in accordance with relevant club policies.Members should also know that all club coaches, bar staff and committee members are all trained in identifying safeguarding issues and will know what to do if approached by a member with a concern.
